The Building and Safety Division provides standards to safeguard life or limb, health, property and public welfare by regulating and controlling the design, construction, location and maintenance of all buildings and structures and certain specifically regulated equipment within the city.

The Southern Nevada Amendments for the various codes listed below are posted on the Southern Nevada Building Officials website.
*UPDATE: The City of Boulder City is proposing to adopt the following codes, which will be considered by the City Council at their regularly scheduled council meeting on July 14, 2020 at 7:00 pm.
By adopting these codes, Boulder City will align itself with the codes currently adopted by the City of Henderson, City of Las Vegas, City of North Las Vegas and Clark County.
Boulder City is also proposing an update to its Building and Safety Division Administrative Code and Title 5 of the City Code. Those redlined documents are available for review below.
