- Historic Preservation Day & Month
Every year in May, various organizations and municipalities across the country celebrate Preservation Month through events that promote historic places and heritage tourism, and that demonstrate the social and economic benefits of historic preservation. Preservation Month began as National Preservation Week in 1973 and in 2005, the National Trust for Historic Preservation extended the celebration to the entire month of May and declared it Preservation Month.
More details will be posted here as the event approaches.
The Boulder City Historic Preservation Commission aids property owners in maintaining and enhancing Boulder City historical resources including properties located within the District.
